Arrival: Upon driving into the Club at 629 Goldstream Avenue Victoria BC, please be aware of the 1st green which will be on your left and the 2nd tee which will be on your right. The etiquette is to wait until the group on the green or tee has waved you through to drive forward.
We kindly request that our guests check in with the Pro Shop on arrival. The Pro Shop is located to the left of the Practice Putting green in front of the Clubhouse. Guests with tee times have access to complimentary driving range balls and use of the practice putting, chipping and wedge game areas.
Attire: All players must wear attire appropriate for a family-oriented golf club throughout your visit. Traditional golf shirts, slacks, skirts, and shorts may be worn. Golf shoes may not have metal spikes. Please CLICK HERE for a complete description of our dress code.
Pace of Play: It is the player’s responsibility to maintain a pace of play that is aligned with the Club Policies. The Golf Professional staff will be monitoring the pace of play to ensure everyone is having an enjoyable experience. Our goal at Royal Colwood is to play 18 holes of golf in a maximum time of 4 hours. It is expected that each group must keep pace with the group ahead of them.
Dining: All visitors are permitted to use our dining facilities and snack shack before or after their round. Our menus and Restaurant hours of operation can be found HERE
Wireless Devices: Cell phones for the purpose of texting or emailing is permissible on club property. Cell phones shall be switched to vibrate or silent while visiting our Club. If you must make or accept a phone call, please note there are designated areas inside the Clubhouse for this purpose. Talking on a cell phone is prohibited on the practice facilities, within 50 yards of the Clubhouse and any area inside the Clubhouse not designated as a cell phone usage area.
Billing: We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Debit cards.
Course Notes: We ask that all members and visitors leave the golf course in better condition than they found it. Please repair all ball marks and divots.
Golf Cart traffic should be focused on fairways and cart paths. Please keep carts a minimum of 30 feet from all greens. Please note that push carts are not allowed between the bunkers and the greens.
